How a Rainy Launch Day Turned into a Great Success!

On Friday September 30th, Freshly Chopped came alive with colour and excitement throughout the island of Ireland with the official launch of our colourful new menu.

Having picked a rainy day throughout most of the country, the event was unexpectedly interrupted with cold, damp weather; but that did not stop the celebrations or the splashes from wellington boots en route to Chopped stores across the country.

All Chopped stores got involved on the day and were decorated to a high level, with balloons and colourful Chopped branded décor, making the day an inviting and exciting experience for healthy food loving customers around the country.

The day was planned with the intention of officially marking the launch of our new Chopped Menu by allowing the public to taste the menu entirely free of charge.

Endless months were put into the planning and execution of our new Chopped Menu and so we felt this launch day would help us to showcase all that the new Chopped Menu would entail; from our new tasty recipes to premium ingredients, exquisite and exotic flavours, crunches, textures and more. Our Chopped New Menu launch event worked as a way to get these new products into the mouths of our customers, allowing our customers to experience our new Chopped Menu first hand.

On the day, customers were able to see our new menu boards for the first time, in all our Freshly Chopped stores. We bravely decided, when putting together plans for our Chopped new menu launch; that our menu boards needed a revamp also. Focusing on the main Freshly Chopped colour palette; the Chopped new menu colours are pastel versions of themselves; giving the Chopped brand and these new offerings a fresh, new look. This improved colour palette has also been carried out throughout the brand, so expect to see this new look across the new Freshly Chopped website and upgraded socials.

Thousands of people visited Chopped stores throughout the country on Friday September 30th, between 12-3pm and it made for a great success and eventful day for everyone!

Customers were welcomed into Freshly Chopped by Chopped team members and offered a wide range of samples, allowing them to taste the new Chopped Menu. Customers were given samples of new salads, new wraps, noodle soups, smoothies and more! Customers were also given the chance to give us feedback  on all they experienced on the day. From the look and feel of our new menu boards to the tastes and flavours of each section on our new menu. Customers were also thrown into a draw to win Chopped gift vouchers in exchange for their feedback.
